Cabinet Detail

Finally I got that little detail piece up and over the seam on the cabinets and got it all caulked and primed.  It's looking better now.  It was pretty bad with all of the nail holes and filler showing. :)

This will be above the w/d and the open shelving will be above the sink.

When we put the top trim on we didn't miter the corners because we wanted it to match the build of the cabinets.  It's all about blending and cohesion to me :) 

Here's a closer shot of the pantry side with the bigger "build up" on top.

I can't wait to see this with the furniture base on the bottom and the crown moulding on top!

(or better yet painted and with doors, lol!)
